This evening we went to the Tree Trimming Party at Bill's office. It was really nice to go and catch up with a few people that we haven't seen in awhile. The boys looked so handsome. Lisa's parents had sent the boys outfits last year for Christmas to use this year, so that's what I put them in. They looked like little men :)
Once most of the children arrived the kids started to hang up the ornaments. Billy went right in! Usually he scopes things out to make sure that everything is good. Nope, not this time! He was so excited. Finnegan on the other hand was a little unsure and stepped back and watched. Daddy stepped in with him and helped him put one up and then he immediately went back for more. After we were finished hanging ornaments we noticed that Santa was coming in on the radar on the tv screen. All the kids got quiet and excited and then you heard, "HO HO HO". They all started wide eyed at the man walking in in red with a white beard. Some were excited, some knew what was going on, some were scared out of their minds and some were to young to even notice something different was going on. We were number three to go sit with Santa and have our picture taken with him. Billy sat right on his lap, Finn wouldn't dare and daddy stood right next to me. Santa asked Billy what he wanted for Christmas and his first response was... "CANDY." He saw the candy canes that Santa was giving out to the kids after they got off of his lap and said their wish list. LOL! I told Billy to tell Santa what he wanted so he said, "Thomas the Train, a sword, a bicycle, Spiderman.." Finn wouldn't budge ;)
We chatted for a minute or two with friends and then headed back to the lunch room to have some dinner and watch Rudolph. Well.... Needless to say Billy was the only one that ate. Lets just say that the Bamford Family was the guest of honor for this years story to tell until someone else takes the 'crown' *hopefully next year* ;)
