First off, we want to wish Popo Joe and Nana Lisa and HAPPY MOVE IN day to their new house! We hope that you have a easy move and we cannot wait to drive up to Iowa to come visit you both - Rocco too! Congratultions, we love you guys!
We hung out at mom and Mike's house and watched movies on VHS that used to be mine and Nick's. Its amazing the difference between now and then. That afternoon we went for a ride on PaPa Mike's new golf cart. It was a chilly ride, but the boys had soooooo much fun! I think they ended up going on five or six rides. My best friend Jessy made it over too. It was so nice to catch up with her ;) Love you! You're an amazing friend and I am beyond blessed to have you in my life.
Shortly after ALL of our golf cart rides and visiting with Jessy, Daddy got home from work. We all chit-chatted a bit and figured out where we all wanted to go to dinner for the evening. We decided on Dave and Busters. Its very kid friendly, they have good food, and most of all - WE ALL LOVE IT! We got there and they said it would be a few minutes until we'd be seated so we walked over to the game area and got our cards loaded so we could play some games. In the middle of doing that our buzzer went off and I headed over to get the table while they finshed up. Once we sat down and had our drinks (Bill and I with our Guiness'!) we all cheered together! Dinner was yummy and everyone enjoyed their meals. After dinner, we went right over to the game room and immediately went to the machine with all the big balls (basketball/bouncy/big stuffed toys..) in them. We failed, but it was fun. The boys enjoyed themselves very much shooting guns, riding motorcycles, driving Nascar and the famous 'coin game'. I swear... It never fails... Every time these boys play that game they win. You get gold coins and put them in to this machine where there are four dump trucks. The dump trucks are filled with coins and there are a sign on each truck that says 'dump'. If you hit the dump sign you win like 500 or 600 tickets and it dumps all the coins in the truck. Do you have any idea how extremely hard it is to do this? HARD. All four of us adults tried and tried and failed and failed. Billy hits it the 10th try and Finn hits it around the same try. All these tickets come out! They always win these darn games ;) so cute! Too bad they are too young to take to the Casino (not that I go) but it would be fun to see if we'd win big then :oP
It was getting late so we decided to try the big ball machine and use up the rest of our points on our card. Well I'd be darn... The fifth or sixth try... We won the basketball! We now have two basketballs and one BIG bouncy ball in the Bamford house! The boys were thrilled. (Thank you mom and Mike for a really really fun night out together!! We appreciate it!)
On the way home... Of course... How else could we have ended our night? Duh. DQ. Its evil evil evil being that close to their home. Bill got his Peanut Buster Parfait and I got my Midnight Truffle Blizzard, mmm. Great way to end a fantastic night!
