To start off, we had blueberry muffins that I made from scratch. Apparently they were good because...
It was EVERYWHERE!
After we all got ready, we headed out to the San Antonio Zoo. The African Wild Dog must have really loved us that day because they never come up to the window, they are always hiding in the back. Well not today! They were 'up close and personal!' The kids were so incredibly happy. They were in their glory!
After that we walked over to the Elephants and were heading towards the Giraffe, but that second was closed. We went to see the Flamingos and Crane's and in the Tiny Tot area. In that area they have a few little buildings. The one that we went to has a little area for the kids to climb around, another area that has a 'store' and what not... Then there was this other area that had been closed everytime that we've gone... Ahh, but this time it wasn't! This area had a little 'pond' where children could fish. Here are the boys having a blast, it was so stinkin' cute!
